How To Farm Crude Oil In The Front
As mentioned, finding Crude Oil in The Front isn't easy, requiring immense time and effort. That said, the answer to your early to mid-game struggles is the Manual Miner. This bad boy can give you a considerable yield of black gold, given that you sit on it and manually mine the Crude Oil from the ground.
So, how do you get the Manual Miner? Look in your Crafting Menu under the "Structures" tab to see the required building level and resources. All you need to do is level it and complete the tasks on the Task Tracker. Once you've unlocked the Manual Miner, build and use it to start mining!
How To Automatically Farm Crude Oil In The Front
The Manual Miner has its limits, though: the need for Crude Oil will increase, but this is where the Simple Oil Well comes into play. You will need to reach Level 28 to build this massive structure (it requires 23x Stone, 12x Machine Parts, and 16x Rope).
The benefit is, however, that Crude Oil farming in The Front will be automated! That's right, no more sitting on the Manual Miner unless you want to. Remember that you can only have one Simple Oil Well at a time.
