It has been a few years since Season 2 of The Witcher landed on Netflix. The television series has become quite popular all over the world as it is very faithful to the books that the titles originated from. Performances from actors like Henry Cavill have launched The Witcher television show as a show to not be missed.

But with Henry Cavill leaving his role as Geralt of Rivia, fans are excited to see his last performance as Geralt in Season 3 of The Witcher. Before Liam Hemsworth appears as Geralt, there is one more season of The Witcher with Henry to look forward to. Netflix has dropped a Season 3 trailer for The Witcher and there is a lot to digest.

As excitement for Season 3 of The Witcher is building up, fans are anticipating a lot for the upcoming season. The Witcher series has remained quite faithful to the book series that the video game series was based on. It looks like there is a lot to look forward to in Season 3 of The Witcher. Check out the trailer right here:

In the trailer, you can see that Ciri is being hunted by The Wild Hunt. The Wild Hunt was a looming antagonist in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt video game. This will also be the first time The Wild Hunt will have a major appearance in the Netflix show. It will be interesting to see what role they will play in Season 3 of The Witcher.

On top of getting a peek at what Season 3 will look like for The Witcher, the trailer that Netflix gave us also had the launch date for the upcoming season. Fans can get ready because Season 3 of The Witcher will launch on June 29th. However, only part of the season will release that day it seems.

On June 29th, Volume 1 of Season 3 will launch that day. Volume 2 of Season 3 though will launch on July 27th, nearly a month later. Right now, it is currently unknown why Season 3 was separated into two different volumes this time around. But that is the current release format, so fans have a lot to look forward to.
