How To Build Waygates In V Rising

Skip the time loss and hassle in getting from A to B with our guide on how to build Waygates in V Rising.
How To Build Waygates In V Rising

The world that Stunlock Studios has created in their brand new vampire survival game V Rising is massive and full of content for players to explore and rise as powerful vampires. But when a world is so large it can become tedious to venture through, leaving many players turned off to the idea of exploration.

V Rising solves this problem using Waygates, a form of teleportation or fast travelling that players can not only use but can create their very own Waygates to make traversing the world easier. Today will show you exactly how to create your very own Waygates in V Rising and get you on track to explore the vast world of V Rising.

How to build Waygates in V Rising?

Waygates are a form of fast travelling through the world of V Rising, these waygates connect to other ones in the world and allow for instant teleportation between them. Though it is worth noting that to use them, players cannot be carrying anything other than equipment or consumables, so all forms of loot must be discarded before using them.

You can circumvent this by using a horse in the game to get around faster and keep all the loot you want to collect on your person. We have put together a full guide that you can check out on how to get a horse in V Rising.

Another limitation is the number of waygates available, there are only a few scattered throughout the world making them somewhat difficult to access. But this is where building your own comes in quite handy.

To build your Waygate, players first need to defeat Polora the Feywalker, a level 34 boss located in the Gleaming Meadows, far to the west of Farbane Woods. Because she is a slightly high-level boss, we recommend using iron ger to fight her as she uses powerful ghostly orbs and a spectral wolf to fight from a distance.

After defeating her, players will gain the recipe for building a Vampire Waygate using the following resources:

  •  200x Blood Essence - gained when defeating humanoid creatures and draining their blood before killing them.

  • 20x Plank - crafted by placing lumber into your sawmill.

  • 20x Copper Ingot - Mined from the orange rocks around the world or the Copper mines in Farbane Woods, and refined in a furnace into copper ingots.

  • 10x Gem Dust - Received when using Gems on any of the Grinders in the game.

Once you have the materials, you can construct your Waygate essentially anywhere on your territory, like your castle for instance, and they will connect to any of the permanent waygates in the world.

Also, the waygates made by you are only usable by you, so no need to worry about other players using your waygate to access your castle if you're playing on a public server.

That's everything you need to know about building Waygates. For more on the game, head to our section dedicated to the latest V Rising news, guides, updates and more.
