The Vitality European Open is the third iteration of the Ignition Series by Riot Games.

VALORANT Ignition Series is an official Riot-partner program which serves as the first step after launch "to build a robust competitive ecosystem."

The idea behind this series is to help Valorant esports scene to grow and establish itself naturally, directly from the community, with a goal to authentically develop talent, players, and stars.

The Vitality European Open is a fully open competition, with 128 teams battling for the place at the main event. 

The Vitality European Open is held by Team Vitality and sponsored by Corsair.

Vitality European Open Teams

Open Qualifier was held on 5th July with 128 teams.

The 8 best teams qualified for the Main Event, and they are:

  • G2 Esports
  • breadHUNTERS
  • FABRIKEN
  • Apexis
  • need more DM
  • Prodigy
  • Bonk
  • PartyParrots

  • Group Stage: 2 groups of four teams.
    • Top two teams advance to the Playoffs
    • All matches Bo3

Group A:

  • Playoffs: 4 teams Double Elimination bracket
    • All matches Bo3 until the Grand Finals which is Bo5 with Winner map advantage

Vitality European Open Schedule 

The main event will be held from 10 July to 12 July.

Group A: Friday 10th at 3 PM CEST

Group B: Saturday 11th July at 3 PM CEST

Playoffs: Sunday 12th July 3 PM CEST

Vitality European Open Prize Pool

Best Valorant teams from Europe will battle for their slice of â‚¬15,000 prize pool.

All teams participating in the main event are guaranteed to earn at least €250.

The tournament's prize pool distribution is:

  • 1st place - €10,000
  • 2nd place - €2,000
  • 3rd place - €1,000
  • 4th place - â‚¬1,000
  • 5th-6th place - â‚¬250
  • 7th-8th place - â‚¬250
