Rostermania for the VCT 2024 season has started revealing some surprising transfers and announcements, including Sentinels signing Zellsis, Benkai moving to Global Esports, Champions 2023 winners Evil Geniuses asking their players to explore options or undergo pay cuts, etc.
Apart from this, rumours regarding more unannounced signings are revolving around on the internet; however, one announcement that almost every Valorant fan is eagerly waiting for is region Jaccob "Yay" Whiteaker's new team/org.
Cloud 9 signed Yay for the VCT 2023 season; however, they soon let him go because of the "role issues", and later, he signed with Disguised (DSG) for Challengers League: North America. Since the transfer window is open again and with Yay expressing his feelings about playing in the tier 1 league for "league minimum," it is obvious that he has received offers from multiple organizations, especially after Jett got nerfed and Chamber slowly making its place back in the meta.
This was confirmed by Yay via his Twitter handle that he will be in the franchise next year; however, he didn't give any hints regarding the region or the team he might be going to, and all we know is that it's not a Chinese team as he tweeted, "Get ready to learn english, buddy."
