GeForce RTX 3070 Ti: Price, release date, specs, performance and where to buy

NVIDIA recently revealed both the extremely expensive GeForce RTX 3080 Ti (at $1,199 USD) and the smaller yet extremely powerful RTX 3070 Ti. While the big new flagship card is out now, due to its insane price, many PC gamers might be waiting for the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to appear in shops. Without a doubt, the RTX 3070 Ti will be a hot commodity, since it has great price-performance, to say the least. GeForce RTX 3070 Ti - Release date & price

Go call your wallet and tell it not to be scared. The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti's price is surprisingly low, coming in at £529 / $599. This puts the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti's price at half of the RTX 3080 Ti.

You won't have to wait long for this beastly new GPU either, as the release date is set for 10th June 2021. Judging by the price and the card's performance metrics, this could very well be the best price/performance GPU in the 30-Series range yet.

GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Specs and performance

As you might have guessed, the RTX 3070 Ti's specs are lower than that of the RTX 3080 but higher than the RTX 3070.

An interesting note on the specs for the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti is that it uses faster GDDR6X memory, in comparison to the standard RTX 3070.

While real-world performance is, at the time of writing, unavailable, the GPU is expected to be roughly 50% faster than the RTX 2070 Super.

Although the RTX 3070 Ti won't be able to beat the RTX 3080 or the new flagship 3080 Ti, its performance is expected to be the fourth-best of all GeForce 30-Series cards, if you can even count the RTX 3090 as a card available or affordable for most consumers.

It's going to be quite difficult to find a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to buy, especially on the release date. This is due to the ongoing semiconductor shortage across the globe. 

Some of your best bets would be checking in on Amazon or Best Buy for the RTX 3070 Ti from a range of graphics card brands such as ASUS, Palet and more. There's also a chance to snag a Founder's Edition from NVIDIA in both the US and UK.
