Grounded is a survival game, so it makes perfect sense that you'll need to both eat and drink in order to survive.
Getting water when you're tiny, though, isn't always easy, so you'll have some trouble along the way. We'll walk you through how to get Clean Water in Grounded so you can stay alive early in the game.
How To Get Clean Water In Grounded
Clean Water isn't a common resource in Grounded, but it's incredibly important. It becomes easier to store and access this resource as you become more established in the game.

You can find it in Dewdrops early on in the game, which sit on blades of grass. Every time you see Clean Water, you should ensure that you take it for yourself. To do so, shake the blade of grass until it falls and you're able to drink from the puddle that shows up.
There are a few other quick locations to access Clean Water in Grounded, which may be viable depending on your exact location on the map:
- Lake
- Honeydew from Aphids
- Juice Boxes and Soda Cans
- Nectar
No matter where you are, you should ensure that you know the location of the nearest water source at all times so you never find yourself sick and dehydrated.
How To Store Clean Water In Grounded
Once you're a little more comfortable with your base in Grounded, you'll want to store Clean Water so you can have a consistent supply of it without having to deal with enemies as you venture out into the world.
You can craft a Canteen using 3 Grub Hides and 2 Woven Fiber, allowing you to store water for later and begin stockpiling. This way, you'll always have water on hand when you need it.
You can also create Water Containers or a Dew Collector in order to create a more consistent supply and collection of Clean Water, but crafting these luxuries may take some time.
If you want to learn how to craft the Dew Collector, check out our guide on how to do so.
That's all you need to know in order to get yourself enough Clean Water to survive and thrive in the new game Grounded.
