Wayfinder Beta: How To Join, Start Date & Platforms

Wayfinder is an upcoming Free to Play MMO RPG that was announced at The Game Awards 2022 and sees players create custom characters that can harness the powers of the world for themselves and gain tremendous power. The game itself isn't available just yet, but its Beta is set to drop soon, and if you're eager to give it a try, then you're in the right place.

Below we'll be walking you through everything you need to know about the upcoming Wayfinder Beta, including how to join the beta, its start date, and the platforms you can grab this amazing game on. 

Wayfinder Beta - How To Join and Start Dates

To sign up for the Wayfinder beta, all you need to do is visit the game's official website. Here you will find the upcoming beta schedule and the short application form to fill out. It requests your console of choice, your email address, your birthdate, and a checkmark to acknowledge the developer's Privacy Notice, a very quick form to fill out.

Once you've completed all the sections and submitted you're good to go, however, it's important to note that you might not be chosen right away because a developer doesn't always accept every single beta tester and will occasionally accept more with each ongoing test (more on those below). 

The Wayfinder Beta will also be separated into different test days on separate dates depending on the platform you've chosen. These platforms and dates are listed below, so be sure to keep an eye on your inbox on these dates if you have that specific platform.

    • First Wayfinder Test - PC
  • January 2023
    • Second Wayfinder Test - PlayStation 5 and PC
  • Early 2023
    • Wayfinder Closed Beta - PlayStation 5 and PC
  • Spring 2023
    • Early Access - PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC
  • Late 2023
    • Full Launch - Free to Play on Consoles and PC''

Wayfinder Beta - Release Date Platforms

As seen above by the Beta platforms, Wayfinder will only be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam/PC. While we can't confirm or deny if it will be coming to other platforms yet such as Xbox next-gen consoles, we assume for now it will be PlayStation and PC exclusive.

We don't have an official release date for the game aside from an estimation in late 2023, but for now, players can add Waifinder to their wishlist on Steam and PlayStation consoles to get ahead of the crowd once the game releases. Also, be sure to check back here soon for more details on Wayfinder once the developers release them.
