Life By You Early Access Delayed By Six Months

Paradox's Sims rival won't be coming for a little while now.
Life By You Early Access Delayed By Six Months

While it was previously supposed to launch on September 12, the Early Access launch of Life By You has been pushed back to 2024.

When is Life By You launching now?

Life By You will be launching in Early Access on March 5, 2024, and is the debut game from Paradox Tectonic, a studio established in 2019. It's headed by Rod Humble, the former boss of EA's The Sims label.

Paradox has stated that anybody who has already pre-ordered the game in Early Access via the Epic Games Store will have their pre-order automatically refunded due to the delay, and will be able to re-purchase the game if they so wish.

The news was announced in a YouTube statement from Humble himself, who explained why the game would be delayed:

"Since we first announced Life By You four months ago, we've been sharing regular updates and dev streams with you, and we've also been releasing builds to our modding partners. The feedback we've received has been really great and invaluable and we wanna take some extra time to integrate it before early access. Specifically, we're adding visual improvements...gameplay tuning... UI style overhaul...mod tools... bug fixing... extra languages..."

The team will also be adding an extra bonus for anybody who plays at the start of Early Access called the Nightclub Vibe pack.
