MADiSON Release Date, Gameplay, Platforms, PC Specs, And More

Developed out of Buenos Aires, Argentina, MADiSON is a first-person psychological horror video game ready to capitalize on the genre’s recent resurgence. Players take control of Luca, an instant camera-wielding victim who is forced to continue decades-old rituals by the eponymous demon who is lurking around every corner.

With beta iterations of the game already online, the early consensus is that MADiSON will be a worthy addition to the already-stacked horror lineup - and this guide will fill you in on everything you need to know before the game launches, including the upcoming release date, PC system requirements, features and gameplay.

After a terrifying trailer dropped nearly a year ago, the hype has been steadily building for BLOODIOUS Games’ debut entry into the horror genre, and now the wait is almost over. A beta of the game has been available for many years, but MADiSON’s full version will finally go live on July 8th.

The game is set to release on PC on both Steam and GOG.com, but console lovers won’t be left in the dust — with MADiSON also launching on both PS4 and PS5 as well as Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.

For those looking for something a little more tangible, the developers have stated that there will be physical copies of the game available in some locations, however, the platforms and specific countries for these physical editions have yet to be announced.

MADiSON gameplay and features

Similar to other horror games, the game will feature a first-person perspective as the main character Luca travels through a disturbing world at the behest of the demon known as MADiSON.

Players will also be able to interact heavily with the rapidly-changing environment around them, with randomly activated events and frequent puzzles designed to offer a high amount of replayability.

As a narrative-based game, much of the story of MADiSON is yet to be revealed, however integral to the game seems to be Luca’s use of an instant Polaroid camera.

Screenshots and descriptions published ahead of the game’s release indicate that the world of the game is not everything as it seems, and the truth can only be revealed through the lens of the camera.

MADiSON PC system requirements (specs)

Both the GTX 950 and R7 370 dropped a year earlier than that, so even at the lower end most if not all modern PCs will be able to run the game without any problems.
