Rematch Final Closed Beta Goes Live From May 28th For 72 Hours

Sifu developer Sloclap hosted the first Closed Beta for their online multiplayer football game, Rematch, which took place between 18th and 21st April 2025, across consoles and PCs. This beta testing period achieved record-breaking numbers, and the developer are hoping to achieve similar success in the next Closed Beta and at launch.

The developer confirmed shortly after the end of the April Closed Beta that one final testing period would be coming soon for all platforms ahead of the game's full launch. The second and final Closed Beta for the online multiplayer football game will go live shortly, allowing players who have received access to join matches as solo players or team up with friends across multiple multiplayer modes.

Sloclap confirmed that the second Closed Beta was to arrive in May to give players another opportunity to explore and battle on football pitches solo or with friends. The developer confirmed the dates and times for the final Closed Beta Test, which is set to begin on 28th May 2025 at 5 am PT / 8 am ET / 12 pm GMT in which the testing period will end on 31st May 2025 at the abovementioned times.

The Closed Beta Test is available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, as well as PC via Steam, and those who were previously invited to the April test may be able to join again. New players had to register via the official Rematch website to request a beta key access to join the final Closed Beta, which can be redeemed for their preferred platform.

Once the Closed Beta concludes on 31st May 2025 at 5 am PT / 8 am ET / 12 pm GMT, the developer will be focusing on preparing for the game's official launch. Rematch is currently scheduled to release on 19th June 2025 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S consoles and will be available via Xbox Game Pass on its release day.
