Shroud & Sacrial Announce Project Astrid With Splash Damage

Mike "shroud" Grzesiek and Chris "Sacriel" Ball have finally revealed one of their biggest projects as they have joined hands with Splash Damage, a British video game development company, to create a AAA open-world survival game, Project Astrid.

While there are no other details about the game, including its development stage or release window, we can get some information from Shroud's livestream today at 9 AM PST where he and Sacriel will be talking about it. 

"This project means everything to me," Shroud said. "Chris and I have refined a vision for what's next in the survival genre, and with Splash Damage we're setting out to build it. We want to build the best survival game ever, and with Sacriel's brain and Splash Damage's team, I know we can do it." 

Sacriel stated, "This is a dream come true. Mike and I have been envisioning a world where we help build the game that streamers and gamers love playing. To be able to execute with a team as esteemed and experienced as Splash Damage is a privilege."

Both Shroud and Sacriel will be the Executive Creator of Project Astrid and will be providing new insights into what fans and creators actually want from their gaming experiences. We will update you guys once we have more information about the AAA title, Project Astrid.
