With the latest The Elder Scrolls: Blades update, the game has officially moved out of Early Access and is now in a full release state on Android as well as iOS devices.

With the move out of Early Access, the game has suddenly become available on Nintendo Switch consoles as well.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades, from Bethesda, is available now on Nintendo Switch and is completely free-to-play, just like on mobile devices.

The game was supposed to release on Nintendo Switch late last year, but after a delay, everything went quiet.

Now, you can grab those Joy-Cons, and proceed to download the game on the Nintendo eShop after the game's surprise release on the console, with no hype-building from Bethesda.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades features full cross-play and cross-progression between Switch, iOS, and Android.

This means you can pick up right where you left off if you've played the game on a mobile device already.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades features:

  • Immerse yourself in Tamriel and embark on quests for loot and treasure.
  • Create and customize your city, restoring it to greatness.
  • Conquer your rivals in epic one-on-one Arena battles or master the never-ending Abyss.
  • Create your character and discover unique weapons, armour, and abilities.
  • Enjoy The Elder Scrolls: Blades with a fully-optimized button layout for Nintendo Switch.

For those who haven't played the game on mobile yet, and don't own a Nintendo Switch, you can grab the full version for free on Android and iOS now.
