TMNT: Shredder's Revenge - Online play
The game will support an incredible six-player online experience. Offline, up to four players will be able to duke it out in TMNT: Shredder's Revenge.
According to Game designer Fred Gemus, the initial development of the game had six-player co-op in mind: "We wanted to bring as many people as possible into the action."
Eric Lafontaine, Marketing Manager at Tribute Games, added: "Every aspect of the game, from ratio to character and level sizes have been designed to support that decision."

It does not seem to be possible to have two players in the same console connect online to join another four, as a blog post explains that "for the online multiplayer, each player would need its own console and version of the game to play." No word on crossplay was said either.
