Xbox Games Marketing VP Promises No CG Trailers At Showcase

The Vice President of Xbox Games Marketing has stated that none of the first-party trailers or reveals in the Xbox Game Showcase are fully CG on Twitter.

In a tweet, Aaron Greenberg states:

"None of our first party hames in the show are full CG trailers. Everything is either in-game footage, in-engine footage, or in-game footage with some cinematics. Each of our trailers will be labeled so it is hopefully clear for our fans."

This will come as a massive relief to Xbox fans who have felt burnt recently by releases such as Redfall and who are looking for confirmation that Xbox has a bright future ahead of them. With games like Fable and Avowed speculated to appear, alongside more news from Starfield, Xbox fans are hopefully in rather good hands.

Before the Xbox Games Showcase, however, Summer Game Fest is happening. That's this Thursday, with the Microsoft and Bethesda showcase happening next Tuesday.
