In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, there are five Phases, each of which favors different playstyles and deal different elemental damage. These are Fire, Water, Earth, Metal, and wood. 

The fire Phase is more suited to someone who likes to play aggressively, as investing in this Phase increases the amount of Spirit one gains from attacking and decreases the amount of Spirit consumed by Martial Arts. So if you want to focus on using Martial Arts abilities and fire damage, the Flame Phase is for you.

There are five Fire Phase spells in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty that you must unlock to deal massive fire damage. 

Blasting Flare

Description: Emits an eruption of flames to the front.

The Blasting Flare is a great spell to disrupt enemy attacks and apply the Burn effect to them. You can unlock it at level 1, and it will undoubtedly come in handy throughout the game. 

Flame Weapon

Description: For a certain period of time, enchant your current melee weapon with Flame
The Flame Weapon is the Fire Phase spell that you will probably end up using the most, and rightly so because this is the most ideal way to deal Fire damage in the game. Plus, you can synergize this with other spells and weapon and armor stats to deal additional fire damage. 

Amplify Damage

Description: For a certain period of time, increases both the damage you deal to enemies and receive from them. 
The Amplify Damage spell is a great way to enhance your character's Fire damage. However, we recommend using it only when you get better at deflecting the enemy's attack. Synergize Amplify Damage with Flame Weapon, and stats like '+ Flame Attack Power' and  '+Element-Imbued Weapon Spirit Damage,' and you have yourself a solid Fire build. All these will especially come in handy when fighting bosses that are weak to fire damage. 

Engulfing Inferno

Description: Summons and attacks with multiple pillars of flame. 
While it may not be useful in boss battles, Engulfing Inferno is great for crowd control. In the later missions, you will often find yourself surrounded by hordes of enemies, and in such situations, Engulfing Inferno is a lifesaver.

Scorch Spinner

Description: Shoots a stream of fire from both hands, engulfing nearby enemies in flames. 

If and when you unlock the Scorch Spinner spell, it will be another crowd-control fire imbuement spell handy in tight situations.
