The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is coming out very soon. With the launch date of this highly anticipated game coming up, players are looking to get a sneak peek at what is coming for this title. Nintendo has already provided us with a few trailers that are filled with information to be excited about. In the recent gameplay trailer, Nintendo showed off that players will have a lot of new powers to use in the game. These powers allow players to manipulate the world around them and allow players to get really creative with the game. One of the more creative powers is the Fuse ability. What Does The Fuse Ability Do In Tears Of The Kingdom?
In Breath of the Wild, there were many random items that players could use as weapons. For example, players can start off the game by collecting a lot of tree branches and beating enemies with them. The Fuse ability allows players to combine items together to create stronger weapons to use.
One example that Nintendo gave us is combining a tree branch with a boulder to make a makeshift hammer weapon. Not only was the combined weapon stronger, but it also fixed the durability of the branch they used. It looks like the Fuse ability has a lot of hidden potential for Tears of the Kingdom.
It might also act as a solution for anyone who gets frustrated with weapon durability.
What Can You Fuse Together In Tears Of The Kingdom?
According to the Zelda website from Nintendo, it seems that players can fuse a lot of different items together into three primary objects. Players can fuse items onto their current weapon, shield, or arrow. As for what you can fuse onto these three objects, it seems that the possibilities are nearly limitless!
Players can fuse items that are currently in their inventory to arrows, shields, or weapons. Players can also fuse items that are not in their inventory, large items like boulders. On top of making your weapons stronger, combining objects will often give your weapons special effects. For example, a puff mushroom combined with a shield will create a smokescreen when your shield is struck. It seems like there is a lot of room to get creative with the Fuse ability in Tears of the Kingdom!
