With the game coming out very soon, fans all over the world are trying to get as much information about the game as possible. In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, weapons had a durability meter and they broke very often. This was something that was brand-new for The Legend of Zelda series. There were some fans that heavily disliked this feature and would prefer it if it stayed in the past. But because Tears of the Kingdom is a sequel, will weapons break in this game?
The short answer is yes, weapons will break in Tears of the Kingdom. During the gameplay preview, there were multiple weapons that broke during the duration of this video. This video by Nintendo 100% confirms that weapon durability is back in Tears of the Kingdom, so interested players have to prepare for that.
How To Prevent Weapons From Breaking In Tears Of The Kingdom
If Tears of the Kingdom is anything like Breath of the Wild, it is likely that all weapons in this game will eventually break. Players will have to understand that in this game, you are picking up random objects a lot of the time and using them as weapons. However, there is a way to delay the break of weapons in Tears of the Kingdom.
In Tears of the Kingdom, Link has the power to fuse weapons. By fusing weapons, their durability will go up and will take a lot longer to break. For example, a tree branch that is combined with a rock will last more than twice as long as a tree branch by itself. So try combining various weapons in Tears of the Kingdom to give them higher durability.
