Tears of the Kingdom is an open-world game which means that there is a lot to explore and for players to discover. There are plenty of different shrines that players can complete to make themselves stronger.
On top of that, there are also many different items and weapons to collect as well. But during your adventures in Tears of the Kingdom, you might run into some writing that Link cannot read because it is in Ancient Hyrulean. Here, we are going to teach you the secret of how to read Ancient Hyrulean in Tears of the Kingdom.

How To Read Ancient Hyrulean Text
To start, the Ancient Hyrulean texts and tablets are part of a side adventure. You will want to start the side adventure named Messages from an Ancient Era side adventure to get started with your translations. To start this side adventure, you will need to complete at least one region of the Regional Phenomena main adventure quest to get this side adventure.
It will start at Lookout Landing where a tablet written in Ancient Hyrulean has landed there. You will talk to a man named Wortsworth and he will tell you about the Ancient Tablets. He will then translate the Ancient Hyrulean and request that you find more tablets. He will then go to Kakariko Village for the remainder of the Side Adventure. Now you are on your way to translating the Ancient Hyrulean Texts.
How To Translate Ancient Hyrulean Text
You yourself cannot translate the Ancient Hyrulean Text, only Wortsworth in this side adventure can. What you need to do is find an ancient tablet on a sky island that looks like a star or a flower. From there, you will need to take a picture of the Ancient Tablet and bring that picture to Wortsowrth. He will then translate the Ancient Hyrulean for you.
There are 12 Ancient Tablets in total that needs to be translated. You can bring all of the pictures at once or bring them to him as you find them. He will then translate the Ancient Text, reading it directly, and then give you a summary of what was written. For each picture you bring Wortsworth, he will give you 100 rupees. In the end, he will give you a Zonai Survey Team Fabric for your paraglider once you bring him all 12 pictures.
