Are Koroks Coming Back To The Legend of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?

The Koroks were a race of woods people that appeared throughout the Legend of Zelda series. In Breath of the Wild, Koroks would be hidden throughout the map of the game for players to find. When you did find them, they awarded you with a Korok Seed that had a couple of different functions for players.

But are Koroks coming back to Tears of the Kingdom? Yes, Koroks will be returning to Tears of the Kingdom. At around the 1:20 mark of the Gameplay Demonstration video, you will see a Korok appear in the trailer. With this in mind, Koroks are now fully confirmed to be making a return to Tears of the Kingdom.

What Will Koroks Do In The Legend of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?

At the time of this writing, it is unclear what function Koroks will serve in Tears of the Kingdom. In Breath of the Wild, there were 900 Koroks that were hidden throughout the map. Finding them would get you a Korok Seed which will allow you to upgrade how many weapons, shields, and items you can hold.

But in this gameplay trailer, it looks like the Korok is walking around like normal and might even have a merchant's backpack on it. So Koroks could be a form of a traveling shop in Tears of the Kingdom. But it is also entirely possible that there are more hidden in the map that we do not know about. Only time will tell.
