Mechanical parts are a scarce but critical resource in the game 7 Days to Die. When you're just starting out in 7 Days to Die, you'll want lots of Mechanical Parts to help you get around. Here's how to find and collect Mechanical Parts in 7 Days to Die.

How To Find Mechanical Parts In 7 Days To Die

Use A Wrench

As we mentioned, the key to getting Mechanical Parts is having a wrench, which will allow you to get Mechanical Parts from a variety of sources. You can usually craft a wrench pretty early on in your adventure.

Using a wrench, you can get Mechanical Parts from items like:

  • Shopping carts
  • Cars
  • Buses
  • Ovens
  • Refrigerators
  • Toasters
  • Toolboxes
  • Microwaves
  • Chairs
  • Lamps
  • Desklamps
  • Electrical Boxes

Basically, almost any electrical or mechanical item has a chance of giving you Mechanical Parts when you use a wrench on it. Simply walk up to the item and use your wrench from your toolbox, and you should acquire some items. Some of these sources give more than just Mechanical Parts, too, making wrenching them more than worthwhile.

Without A Wrench

Mechanical Parts can sometimes be found around the map without using a wrench. You can look in Destroyed Workbenches, Toolboxes, Power Crates, and on shelves. While this will sometimes help you find Mechanical Parts, it isn't nearly as reliable of a method as using the wrench.
