How To Get Segunda In TYPE SOUL

Want to know how to get Segunda in TYPE SOUL? You're in the right place! If you've decided to follow the path of Hollow, then you'll know that Segunda Etapa is the ultimate form, boasting insane power that can be used to overcome your foes. But how do you unlock it?

Well—that's where we come in. If you're a Soul Reaper or Quincy, you're sadly out of luck. This guide will detail all the steps that Hollow players must follow to get the coveted Segunda Etapa in TYPE SOUL. Let's jump right in!

How To Unlock Segunda Etapa In TYPE SOUL

To get Segunda in TYPE SOUL, you need to be Vastocar. If you haven't achieved this progression level, please refer to our guide on how to become a Vasto Lorde. Otherwise, you can also achieve Vastocar by grinding Partial Res and then Full Resurrection—however, this will take a long time.

Note: The requirement for achieving Full Res in TYPE SOUL is to complete 15 Raids and get 15 Elite kills, 80 Hollow kills and defeat the Bawabawa. Also, it's worth noting that Vampire, Bone, Shark, Storm, and Starkk all have Segunda!

Once you are at the required level, go directly to Menos Forest in Hueco Mundo. Next, climb up one of the large tree roots shooting out from the ground and look for a cave hidden within the cliff wall (it's the same cave you would have unlocked Full Res).

Inside the cave, you'll spot a black orb and a transparent-looking sword. Interact it to receive the Segunda Quest. Now, you must get 20 Powerful Grips to unlock Segunda in TYPE SOUL. This means you need to kill other players who have unlocked Bankai, Voltstanding, or Full Res.

Importantly, these players MUST be using these forms when you fight and defeat them. Assisted kills will count toward your Grips—however, you must deal at least 80% of the damage. You will not get Segunda Etapa by cheesing or having another player do all the work for you, as some other guides suggest!

On the plus side, if you die while trying to get the required 20 Powerful Grips, you will NOT lose your Grips. This means you can just continue your grind when you respawn. Once you've done this, return to the black orb in the cave, and you will unlock Segunda in TYPE SOUL.
