During one of the most challenging parts of Slender: The Arrival, Part 3: Into The Abyss, you'll need to avoid both Slenderman and a villain called the Proxy at the same time as you attempt to turn on generators. While Slender will be waiting for you at the ends of hallways, the Proxy will be chasing you down, making it challenging to know where to go.

Here's how to avoid dying to the Proxy and Slenderman after the 10th-anniversary update so you can make it to the next chapter unscathed.

The Proxy in the Into The Abyss chapter is fast, so you won't be able to outrun this creature on foot and simultaneously turn on the generators without help; instead, you'll need to think outside of the box. Your flashlight will come in handy more than ever now; instead of letting you navigate through the darkness, it'll save your life, allowing you to blind and stun the Proxy.

To blind the Proxy, simply right-click and aim your flashlight at the Proxy's face. The hitbox is pretty wide, so you don't need to worry about narrowing down the aim like you do while blinding killers in Dead by Daylight. However, distance does matter; if the Proxy is too close, they'll simply just kill you anyway, and if they're too far, they won't stay stunned for long. Try stunning the Proxy at medium range.

Once you've blinded the Proxy, you're not done yet. The Proxy will start moving again very shortly, chasing you down once again. This means you'll need to continue blinding the Proxy, turning around regularly to check if they're nearby. To ensure you have plenty of distance on them, you can walk to the middle or ends of hallways, turn around, and blind them once they turn the corner.
