Apex Legends Arenas weapon tier list - Every gun ranked from best to worst

Apex Legends Arenas has arrived with Season 9, bringing a completely new type of gameplay to the battle royale.

The Arenas mode works completely differently than standard Apex Legends games, and thus it requires a different approach to the game, both in terms of how you play and which weapons and legends are planning on using, as well as how to use them for maximum efficiency.

Smaller and symmetrical maps, just two teams of three, quick gameplay and the round economy are some of the most important factors that players should keep in mind when learning how to properly play this mode.

If you want to know what are strictly the strongest guns in the Arenas mode in terms of raw power, then check out the best weapons for Apex Legends Arenas.

But here, we will talk more about the weapon economy and what weapons are the best in terms of cost-efficiency.

How much do you get for the price you pay is a very important thing for Arenas, as here you will need to pay for everything, including various consumables and even charges for the abilities.

First things first, let's check out our ranking system for weapons in the Arenas mode

  • S-Tier: The most optimal weapons when it comes to Arenas, you get a lot more than what you paid for.
  • A-Tier: Weapons that are generally great regardless of their cost.
  • B-Tier: You need some purple attachments. Slower time-to-kill (TTK) can hurt you during engages and it cost a lot.
  • C-Tier: Requires you to stock up with great attachments, and it is not cost-efficient.
  • F-Tier: These weapons are simply not working in Arenas.

With all that in mind, let's take a look at the Apex Legends Arenas weapon tier list.

S-Tier

  • Eva-8 Auto - Shotgun
  • G7 Scout - Light Assault Rifle
  • Kraber .50 CAL - Sniper Rifle
  • VK-47 Flatline - Heavy Assault Rifle
  • R-301 Carbine - Light Assault Rifle
  • M600 Spitfire - Heavy Machine Gun
  • Triple Take - Sniper Rifle
  • Wingman - Heavy Pistol
  • Volt -SMG

The weapons in Arenas' S-Tier are either guns that work really well on their own or offer a lot for their cheap cost and can be upgraded easily.

The Eva-8 Auto is a cheap shotgun that can give you an insane advantage in early rounds because you will almost always outlast your opponents, as you will have more materials to spend on upgrades, Meds and other consumables.

Snipers like the Triple Take or the Kraber are also here as they are cheap due to their natural disadvantages in this mode, but high-skilled players who know to play with them will have a great weapon while also saving enough to gear up fully.

On the other hand, weapons like Flatline and Spitfire are expensive but powerful on their own and are great picks for later rounds.

A-Tier

  • Alternator - Light SMG
  • HAVOC - Energy Rifle
  • Longbow DMR - Sniper Rifle
  • R-99 - Light SMG
  • Bocek Bow
  • Sentinel - Sniper Rifle

Weapons in this tier are solid choices all-around and they can be used in various situations. Many of these weapons are excellent primary weapons that work really well, you don't need to pay a lot for them, and you can easily upgrade them if you play well.

You should keep in mind that due to the nature of the mode (limited resources and players don't get to keep the weapons from previous rounds), you will almost never be in a situation to have two fully kitted weapons, and so you should always take into consideration which weapons work better without attachments or just with a few upgrades, especially for your primary weapons.

B-Tier

  • Devotion - Energy LMG
  • Hemlok - Heavy Assault Rifle
  • Mozambique - Shotgun
  • Peacekeeper - Shotgun
  • L-Star - EMG

The B-Tier weapons are something you should take into consideration only in specific situations or if you are really good with these guns.

These guns are not bad, but they either require too many upgrades or simply too expensive for what they provide in Arenas.

Mozambique is here because it is simply not a good weapon, but it cost you nothing, so you can always have it as an option in some weird builds where you want to go all-in with upgrades on your primary and spend materials on Meds and abilities.

The Peacekeeper is another interesting choice in this tier and it actually can be a great choice in later rounds, though we don't recommend it for early rounds.

C-Tier

  • 30-30 Repeater - Heavy Assault Rifle

Not much to say here, the 30-30 Repeater simply doesn't offer enough, and thus you should only use it if you are really comfortable with it, otherwise, avoid it.

F-Tier

  • Mastiff - Shotgun
  • P2020 - Light Pistol
  • RE-45 - Light Pistol

Completely useless, no need to even talk about these.

And that's it! Hope you will have fun with this mode! If you want to learn more about the Arenas economy, check out what are best Round 1 loadouts for the  Apex Legends Arenas mode
