Apex Legends Mobile Respawn Beacons: How to get and how they work

The mammoth new Apex Legends update arrives on 23rd June, with the Lost Treasures Collection Event kicking off at 20:00 UK time. With the update, a brand new item called Mobile Respawn Beacon makes its landing in the game.

Here's what you need to know about the Apex Legends Mobile Respawn Beacon, and how it works.

Apex Legends Mobile Respawn Beacon: How to get

If you are running around King's Canyon and have no clue how to get the Apex Legends Mobile Respawn Beacon, then we've got you covered.

The Apex Legends Mobile Respawn Beacon is only available in the new Armed & Dangerous Evolved LTM. Only after the Lost Treasures Collection Event completes will the new item become available in all other game modes.

This is likely due to Respawn Entertainment testing the item in the LTM before deploying it into other game modes, and the general loot pool.

There are no Respawn Beacons in this LTM. Instead, each player will get one Mobile Respawn Beacon to start the match with.

How does Mobile Respawn Beacons work?

The Mobile Respawn Beacons will need to be used with care by players. You only start with one in the LTM, so using it carefully is the key to success.

From your inventory, you can deploy the Apex Legends Mobile Respawn Beacon nearly anywhere on the map in an effort to save your fallen comrades. It works a lot like Lifeline's Care Packages, which means it takes some time to land.

Once deployed, the Mobile Respawn Beacons work on a first-come, first-serve basis. This means enemies can use it as well if you aren't quick enough and secure the area.

After you've safely used your Mobile Respawn Beacon, you can use your teammates' Banner Cards to bring them back to life.
