At some point or another, most Apex Legends players have more than likely had to deal with the infamous Error Code 100.
The error message has to do with players being unable to sign into their EA account and has several causes. As such, players aren’t sure how to fix the problem or what to do if it comes up. The question of what to do has been asked since the bug was discovered back in 2019 and most still have no idea how to solve the problem and get back into Apex Legends.
That’s no longer the case, as we know exactly how players can fix the bug and hop back on the battle royale.
Fixing error code 100 in Apex Legends
It should be noted that all of the known fixes are thought to be temporary. This means the fix will likely solve the bug for a time but the error code could very well come back. In this case, players simply have to repeat the steps seen below.
The fix deals with changing a player’s DNS, which is easily fixable on both Xbox and PlayStation, where the error code is more known to pop up. However, it has arisen on PC as well.
Below, fixes for error code 100 on all three systems can be found.
