Cloth Gear

Despite being available early in the game, Cloth Armor remains useful for climate protection until better gear is crafted. Due to its temperature-negating properties and lightweight, experienced players are advised to carry Cloth Armor in their inventory, allowing for a quick switch during extreme heat or cold, especially on extended excursions from the base.

Hide Gear

A full set of Hide Armor offers 85 cold protection and -25 heat protection, making it beneficial for surviving colder environments early on. However, it may be less versatile for general use. Some players opt to combine pieces of Hide and Cloth Armor for balanced protection against both heat and cold.
