Best Milano 821 loadout for Cold War Season 2 Reloaded

Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reload has arrived, and with it, an abundance of new content for players to explore.

But, asides from new content, Treyarch has delivered a set of significant weapon changes, which they think are necessary in order for some weapon to perform better, and time-to-kill (TTK) of all weapons to be similar.

The SMG class has undergone the most changes, with 5 weapons receiving buffs and nerfs, and among those, the good old Milano 821 is buffed the most.

This submachine gun has been a strong choice even before the mid-season update but with the latest buffs, it is arguably one of the strongest SMGs in the game, and for us, maybe even the strongest close-quarters weapon right now.

In Season 2 Reloaded, the Milano 821 received increased mid-range damage by 10%, mid-range damage range by 33%, sprint out speed by 14.2%, raise speed by 11%, and even slightly increased ADS speed.

Best Milano 821 loadout for Cold War Season 2 Reloaded

With all these buffs the weapon is already crazy good, but with the right set of attachments, it will wreak havoc on your enemies.

• Muzzle: Infantry Compensator
  + 12% Vertical Recoil Control will help with your steadiness in close combat, allowing you to leverage advantages the weapon received with Season 2 Reload.
• Barrel: 10.6 Task Force
  With + 6% Damage, + 50% Effective Damage Range, and + 75% Bullet Velocity, this barrel will help you to achieve some success even when the distance is a bit too big for your comfort.
• Body: Swat 5MW Laser Sight
  35% boost to hipfire accuracy, with a small decrease to aim down sight speed. You will often need to hipfire, and the Milano 821 is one of the best weapons for that.
• Underbarrel: Foregrip
  It will give you 15% Horizontal Recoil Control, and we generally want to minimize recoil as much as we can with this build.
• Magazine: 55 Round Drum
  Almost double the capacity of a base magazine, but this is the type of weapon with which you don't want to get in a situation where you need to reload in crucial moments.
• Handle: SASR Jungle Grip
  Finally, 80% flinch resistance is the main reason why we pick this handle, rendering flinch almost non-existing, and +15% Aim Down Sight Time is just a nice extra bonus, while - 12% Sprint to Fire Time is practically irrelevant.
