How To Enter The Master’s Keep In Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania

With how well Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania was reviewed by critics all over the internet, players are picking up the DLC and enjoying the new content for Dead Cells. The DLC brings Castlevania to modern games, and it gives players that sense of nostalgia that they experienced years ago playing Castlevania.

One of the biggest pieces of nostalgia is the puzzles that are in the DLC. One of the biggest pieces of speculation for those who bought the DLC is how they can enter the Master's Keep. Here, we are going to go over how players can enter the Master's Keep in Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania DLC.

How To Get In The Masters Keep In The Castlevania DLC For Dead Cells

Getting into the Masters Keep in the new Castlevania DLC is a bit tougher than you might initially think. If you go through the Castle Outskirts, you will eventually make it to Dracula's Castle. From Dracula's Castle, you will find the entrance to the Master's Keep. From there, you will not be able to get into the Master's Keep and you will actually be dragged down to fight against Death.

If you fight Death, this means that you are locked out of the Master's Keep for the rest of the run. If you want to get into the Master's Keep, you will actually need to skip the Castle Outskirts entirely. Players will have to make their way through Dead Cells normally and reach the Clock Room and beat the Time Keeper. From there, an entrance to Dracula's Castle will appear. Now players can access the Master's Keep.

What Are The Rules For Getting In The Master's Keep In Dead Cells

Getting into the Master's Keep is a bit tricky, and there is one major thing that players need to remember if they are interested in fighting Dracula. Players cannot re-enter Castlevania Content more than once per run. That means that players cannot go through the Castle Outskirts, fight Death, beat the Time Keeper, and then go on to defeat Dracula.

If players want to fight Dracula, they must skip the Castle Outskirts entirely and go directly to the Time Keeper via a different route. It is a bit unusual that players cannot go through the Castle Outskirts to eventually make their way to the Master's Keep, but that is how it is.
