While the spooky season might still be over six months away, Bungie is already planning ahead with a fun community activity for Destiny 2 players to engage with -- voting on the next Festival of the Lost featured armour set.
Similar to 2021's Halloween festivities, where the devs asked fans to vote between a dinosaur or monster-themed sets, with the prehistoric animals reigning supreme, Bungie is repeating the feat for the 2022 Festival of the Lost.
Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost - How to vote in Mechs vs Monsters poll
Monsters are back with a vengeance, featuring cosmetics inspired by Kaiju icons like Godzilla or The Creature from the Black Lagoon, finding in Mech-inspired outfits a worthy opponent.
The Mech armour sets are nothing to scoff at either, the Titan set is a clear homage to the more classic early Gundam style, blocky but incredibly iconic.

"Mobile suits aren’t just for cancelling the apocalypse, mind you. They’re also for show," Bungie stated, a double-whammy of references for Mech enthusiasts.
Before we get into how to issue your vote, let's give you a look at what each set could potentially look like down below:

You have time to pick your favourite set as the actual voting won't start until 7th April. Once you've decided on which set you'll support, follow the next steps to cast your vote:
March 31 – April 6: Ensure you’ve signed up for emails from Bungie.
- Link your PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Steam, Stadia, or Twitch account credentials to your Bungie.net profile.
- Visit the Account Settings page.
- Click on “Email and SMS.”
- Enter your preferred email address to receive Bungie communications.
April 7 – April 13: Polls open.
- Watch your emails for your chance to vote.
April 13: Polls close.
The winning set will be revealed at some point before the Festival of the Lost event by Bungie.
If you're new to Destiny 2, it's important to note that these sets are purely ornamental and are not proper armour pieces with individual stats. That means you can continue to boast your strongest gear while looking stylish.
The set will be available for purchase using two different currencies, one is Silver, the premium one that requires real-life money to acquire, or Bright Dust, a farmable currency that players can use to buy cosmetics.
