Server overload during a new season is a common occurrence in Destiny 2, however, players that have managed to log into Season of the Risen have reported not being able to land into any destinations within the game.
Particularly, many players have been stuck wondering what does the HONEYDEW error means and what can they do to fix it. Well, we have good news and bad news.
Destiny 2 HONEYDEW error code - How to fix

The HONEYDEW error code happens, according to Bungie, when "public access to an activity has been overridden. This happens when servers go down or when certain issues have been found."
Bad news, there's nothing you can do on your end to fix it, as it's all up to Bungie to come up with a solution. The good news is, the devs have acknowledged the situation and are actively working on solving it.
