Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer: How to complete Override activity

Destiny 2's latest season, Season of the Splicer, brings along a plethora of content for players to sink their teeth in and grind, including the Override activity.

This six-man activity is more fast-paced than last season's Battlegrounds, doubling the fireteam's size to six as Guardians look to stop the Vex from advancing through to the Last City.

Let's cut right to the chase and tell you everything you need to know about Override in Season of the Splicer.

You can launch the Override mission from the H.E.L.M which is now directly accessible from the Destinations tab.

Kill Vex

Players are tasked with collecting motes by killing Vex, banking them in a Vex terminal as they look to establish a connection to its network.

You'll see a progress bar on the left side of your screen to indicate how much progress you and your team are making.

Clear connection blockers

Clean up all the Vex that show up but the main baddie you want to eliminate is Vex miniboss that will appear during this phase.

Override the Terminal Passcode:

With the boss out of the way, you'll want to shoot at the small red Vex Nodes covering the Terminal, pictured below.

Repeat this process until the progress bar is filled and a portal to a Vex simulation will pop up on the ground.

Kill the Boss

From here on out it's a pretty standard affair. A small platforming section followed by a boss encounter you should have no problem dealing with.

The boss does have a couple of phases in which it'll hide with a protected barrier, forcing you to destroy Vex nodes to bring the shield down.
