Dota 2 Berlin Major 2023: Schedule & Format

The Dota 2 Berlin Major 2023 is the second Major of the 2023 DPC season. The tournament features a Group Stage and Playoffs, with 18 teams competing for the championship title from 26 April through 7 May 2023 at the Velodrom Arena in Berlin, Germany. The Group Stage comprises two groups of nine teams each, playing a single round-robin format with all matches being BO2.

The top four teams from each group advance to the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs, while the 5th and 6th placed teams advance to the Lower Bracket. The remaining teams are eliminated. The Playoffs feature twelve teams, with eight starting in the Upper Bracket and four starting in the Lower Bracket. On the other hand, the Playoffs follow a double-elimination bracket format, with all matches except the Grand Final being BO3, while the Grand Final is BO5.
