What is POTW in eFootball 2024

POTW stands for 'Players of the Week' and rather simply it's a way for Konami and eFootball to reward standout players with exceptional stats. Trending players are normally chosen based on an exceptional performance they put out during a specific match in the past week. Players of this type normally come with boosted stats that reflect their performance during that match.

For example, if England and Arsenal Starboy Bukayo Saka bangs in a hat trick, chances are, he'll get a POTW card with improved shooting stats.

Also, do note that these POTW players will have a Team Playstyle Proficiency of "90" across the board. Every week we'll also get a teaser from the eFootball 2024 social team before these cards are released, so if you want to have some fun making your predictions before they drop, go ahead and give them a follow.

How To Sign POTW Players

Each week the chosen POTW players will be available via the 'Special Player List', which is itself available within the Contract section of the game. Once you head into 'Special Player List' you'll be able to see the various Contracts available, including the most recent POTW players, which usually stand out as they're on a bright green background.

The POTW special players list allows you to sign players from a box containing up to 11 players each week. Every time a player is signed, the number of remaining players in the box is reduced. You can only sign 3 players from the list (the menu will inform you have many picks you have remaining) and all players have an equal chance of being signed.

How Much Do POTW Cards Cost

As has always been the case, each eFootball POTW pack costs 100 Coins. Generally speaking, coins are purchased by paying real money at the “myClub Store”. Of course, there are some methods to earn eFootball coins without spending any real money, but these are few and far between.

So if you do plan on spending your hard-earned coins to create that ultimate Dream Team, then spend wisely.

How Long Can You Sign A POTW Player For

A player's contract is only valid for 365 days since he was signed, and will expire at 2 a.m. UTC on the last day. This includes periods for which the players may be unavailable for use, such as during server maintenance.
