How to get the Black Knife Set in Elden Ring

Elden Ring is full of different armour with unique looks, but not many can top the style of the Black Knife Set that is donned by the assassins of the same name. This armour is defined by the scaled metal, and the wispy cloth draped over the chest piece and the hood.

On top of the unique style, the full set with the cloak unaltered will muffle the footsteps of anyone wearing it. The set is perfect for anyone that loves a stealthy look with the ability to match; however, reaching the set can be a bit of a process.

Elden Ring - Black Knife Set location

Before you can reach the Black Knife Set in Elden Ring, you're going to need both halves of the Haligtree Medallion. Before that aspect of the guide is covered, though, we will start at the location of the set itself.

With the Haligtree Medallion in hand, you'll need to reach the Grand Lift of Rold in the Forbidden Lands, north of Leyndell. Make sure to swap actions at the interactive point and use the secret medallion option. This will bring players to a catacomb-like area that leads to the Consecrated Snowfield,

Once you make it to the open field, head directly north. When you reach the river, you will know it's the right direction and continue to move north. The snow should clear up, and you will find a location called Ordina, Liturgical Town. There is a puzzle here that leads to the Haligtree, but you won't need that here.

You'll see a bright bridge directly ahead on the main path. The Black Knife set is on a corpse below that bridge, and you can get there easily by going to the left side of the town and following that path. There, you can pick up the Black Knife Set.

Locating both Halves of the Haligtree Medallion in Elden Ring

Looking for the first half is much easier and can be found at the Village of the Albinaurics in Liurnia of the Lakes. This area is located in the western part of the cave-like of the lakes region. Head up the path in the village until you find a perfumer.

Takedown this perfumer and look towards a container just ahead. Hit the container once to reveal an NPC. Speak to him, and he will give you the right half of the medallion.

The second half is located at Castle Sol in the Mountaintops of the Giants. This is the northernmost point of the snowy region and can be found by following a winding path past the graves.

In this castle, Commander Niall must be defeated, and in the tower behind him, you will find the second half. With the left half, you can reach the Consecrated Snowfields and claim the Black Knife Set in Elden Ring.
