FIFA 22 Ones to Watch predictions: Start date, OTW cards, and ratings

The OTWs are always exciting cards to keep an eye out with every release of FIFA 22.
The release of FIFA 22 is inching ever so closer with fans of the series and Ultimate Team enthusiasts alike excited to discover all the new changes EA Sports has cooked up this time around.

FUT fans know that with a new FIFA release and the start of the footballing season after a hectic summer period that saw Argentina win the Copa América and Italy take the Euros, the Ones-to-Watch cards are always, well, ones-to-watch.

The OTWs are a selection of the most eye-catching transfers in the world of football, mixing high-profile talent and promising young up and comers. These cards are called 'Live items,' meaning that the player in question will receive stat boosts according to performances in real life, and the card will match the stats of a potential POTM, TOTW, or any other type of card.

Let's take a look at everything you need to know about FIFA 22 OTWs.

First thing's first, let's take a look at some players that we can expect to see in FIFA 22 as OTW cards in FUT.

There are plenty of shoe-ins for a spot, including Ibrahima Konaté who signed with Liverpool, Italian goalkeeping star Gianluigi Donnaruma signing with Paris Saint-Germain, and Jadon Sancho soon to be confirming his imminent transfer to Manchester United.

Here's a list to keep an eye on. Keep in mind players like Sergio Ramos or Sergio Aguero can't be OTW cards as they are above 30 years of age:

  • Jadon Sancho - Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United - 88 OVR
  • Ibrahima Konaté - RB Leipzig to Liverpool - 81 OVR
  • Memphis Depay - Lyon to FC Barcelona - 87 OVR
  • Emiliano Buendia - Norwich to Aston Villa - 81 OVR
  • André Silva - Eintracht Frankfurt to RB Leipzig - 82 OVR
  • Rodrigo De Paul - Udinese to Atlético Madrid - 81 OVR

We'll update as more signings are confirmed.

FIFA 22 Ones to Watch - Release date

The OTW cards are made available soon after the release of a new FIFA entry.

FIFA 22 will release on 1st October, meaning it won't take long following that first October week until we meet our first batch of OTW player cards.
