How To Get The Triceratops Mount In FFXIV

In FFXIV, there's plenty of rare mounts, emotes, minions, and more to get your hands on. Some of these cosmetic items are acquired by beating very difficult pieces of content in FFXIV. Some require the completion of a quest or a series of quests. While others have a less than 1% drop chance in certain dungeons. 

The Triceratops mount is one of the rarest mounts available in FFXIV and will require a lot of work in order to acquire. 

How To Get The Triceratops Mount In FFXIV

To acquire the Triceratops mount, players will need to earn the "Nuts for Nutsy" achievement in the game. Sounds easy enough, right? Well, think again. This achievement also requires players to complete the "Shadowbring Your A Game III" and "Shadowbring Your S Game III" achievements. 

These achievements require players to complete 2000 Elite Marks of A rank and 1000 Elite Marks of S rank or higher. It should be noted that these marks can spawn randomly and at various times of the day, meaning players will likely need to be part of several Linkshells to stay on top of things. Some players have reported that this mount takes months of 8-hour-a-day nonstop farming in order to acquire.
