Fortnite Lantern Fest 2022: Lantern Trials, Bundles, Fortography, and more

There's certainly been no shortage of excitement thus far in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. The new split of gameplay continues the long-running battle royale storyline as enemy forces have invaded the Fortnite island.

After the initial weeks of Season 2, Epic Games are now geared up for the next event in Fortnite as Lantern Fest 2022 is set to go live. The themed period features item bundles, competitive gameplay, Fortography, and more.

Fortnite Lantern Fest - Chapter 3 Season 2

Beginning on 2nd April and running throughout the entirety of the month, Lantern Fest 2022 will feature a series of illuminated activities including Lantern Trials, bundles, a special cooking Emote, and more.

In an official blog post, Epic Games detailed the Lantern Fest specifications including a worldwide Fortography competition to win an exclusive Emoticon. Still early in Chapter 3 Season 2, it's safe to say Fortnite players are getting their fair share of content as Weekly and Resistance challenges are constantly released in bunches.

As the post from Epic reveals, the Fortnite island is celebrating Lantern Fest as lanterns are hanging along the streets of certain POIs, and a themed contest is set to feature. To enter the competition, players will need to take a picture featuring one (or many) of the lanterns and share it on Twitter using the #Lantography2022 hashtag. The submitters of Epic's favourite shots will have a chance to win the Cameo Needs Loot! Emoticon.

Do note that players will need to be following the Fortnite Twitter account as well as have their Tweets set to 'Public' status to be eligible for the rewards.

Power Shong Locker Bundle - Fortnite Lantern Fest 2022

Following the Fortnite Lantern theme, Power Shong has created his own Locker Bundle for players to purchase in the Item Shop on 19th April at 8 pm ET (20th April at 1 am GMT) The Power Shong locker bundle contains the following items:

Lantern Trials - Fortnite Lantern Fest Chapter 3 Season 2

Last but not least, the detailed blog post from Epic Games stated that Lantern Trials are coming soon to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. While the challenges as well as their release date have yet to be revealed, Epic has directed players to stay tuned for further details on the Lantern Trials.
