Using the Kinetic Boomerang is actually pretty easy. Once you have the Kinetic Boomerang, it works like any other throwable. You can raise up the boomerang to aim it and then throw it at your target. If you throw it at an enemy who is in your crosshair, the boomerang will have a homing effect essentially guaranteeing that you will hit your target.

There is one thing that is missing from the Kinetic Boomerang, though. Previous Kinetic Weapons had some sort of mobility attached to them that helped you get around the map. Unfortunately, the Kinetic Boomerang has no mobility movement for players. So be sure you are in the right position when you are using this weapon.
