Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 continues with more weekly quests for you to complete. One of the latest quests requires you to interact with a bizarre object that you may not have noticed before or didn't know what to do with it.

The object in question is a Kinetic Ore. The quest requires you to travel a certain distance using Kinetic Ore. Here's how to complete this quest in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

How to travel using Kinetic Ore in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

You can find Kinetic Ore in the Shattered Slabs region of the map.

You can find Kinetic Ore in the Shattered Slabs region of the map. We have marked the exact location of this place on the map above.

Kinetic Ores are these blue crystals you will find all over Shattered Slabs. After coming across one, use your harvesting tool to activate it. Soon, you will notice small air circles forming next to the ore.

Climb on top of the charged Kinetic Ore to fly with it.

The circles indicate the directions Kinetic Ore will start traveling once you stop hitting it. Simply climb on top of the ore when the circles appear to travel with it and complete the objective. To make it travel the farthest, keep hitting the ore until it turns purple. 

This may take a few attempts, so do not lose hope and keep trying. Traveling 50 distance will complete the quest.
