Klombos Snow Mounds locations - Fortnite secret challenge

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 continues to keep the state of play in flux and players are certainly enjoying the early returns. The recent v20.10 Update unvaulted some popular items bringing them back into the fold, and it looks like Epic isn't done yet.

Klombos were the giant dinosaurs roaming the island in Chapter 3 Season 1 and instantly became very popular amongst the fan base. At the start of Season 2 they were removed from the Fortnite island, but could they be set to re-emerge soon? Fortnite Klombos Snow Mounds - Chapter 3 Season 2

One of the most important facets of any new Fortnite season is the battle pass. With pages of rewards to unlock, the battle pass is always a source of premium Fortnite content.

Leveling up the battle pass requires players to unlock XP by completing Weekly Challenges as well as the new Resistance Quests in Season 2. To make the process even more user-friendly, Epic Games has just recently added a secret challenge for players to gain even more XP.

To complete these challenges, players will need to find Klombos Snow Mounds as it looks like the giant dinosaurs are set to return to the island. There are three total mounds for players to find and 10,000 XP will be unlocked upon completion of the challenge. Here's where to look to find Klombos Snow Mounds in Season 2.

Klombos Snow Mounds locations - Chapter 3 Season 2

As you can see, all three of the Klombos Snow Mounds are located in the Northwest portion of the Fortnite island. Just North of Logjam Lumberyard, head for the snow-capped mountains when you drop and locate the mounds to complete the challenge and earn yourself 10,000 XP.

But do be careful, as you likely won't be the only player in the lobby looking to complete the secret challenge. Keep your head on a swivel when passing through Logjam Lumberyard for the next few weeks as it's bound to be a hot drop.
