Marvel Knockout Super Series - Black Widow Cup: Schedule, format, prize pool and more

After the introduction of the Marvel Knockout Super Series with the Daredevil Cup, Epic Games has now announced the third event in the series of tournaments -- the Black Widow Cup.

Just like the previous events, this new tournament will give those that decide to take part the chance to win the new Black Widow skin in Fortnite, as well as let them qualify for a final competition scheduled for 21st November which will boast a prize pool of million.

So, how does it all go down? Here's everything you need to know about the Black Widow Cup.

Fortnite Black Widow Cup - Schedule & Format

The event, which is a duos competition will kick-off this upcoming 11th November. Here are the specific start times according to your region:

• OCE 2:00:00 AM ET
• ASIA 4:00:00 AM ET
• ME 9:00:00 AM ET
• EU 12:00:00 PM ET
• BR 4:00:00 PM ET
• NAE 6:00:00 PM ET
• NAW 9:00:00 PM ET

Go to the Compete Tab in the Game Lobby. Locate the Black Widow Cup and find the local time it starts for your region. The event playlist will be available in the playlist menu once the event has started.

Note: You cannot fill into tournaments and you must reach account level 30 to participate as well as having 2-Factor Authentication set up.

The game mode played during a given Black Widow Cup session will be Marvel Knockout. Event sessions will last approximately three (3) hours. Teams may participate in a maximum of ten (10) matches during a session, unless otherwise indicated in-game.

Scoring system

• 1st: 25 points
• 2nd: 10 points
• 3rd-4th: 5 points
• 5th-8th: 3 points
  
• 9th-16th: 1 points

Fortnite Black Widow Cup - Prize Pool

For this specific tournament, there will be no prize money, however, top competitors will get the free Ghost Rider Fortnite skin before it goes live on the item shop.

Furthermore, any player who participates in all four of the cups will receive the exclusive Nexus War Glider. The final event will feature a massive prize pool of $1 million.
