Genshin Impact Dragonbone Orb: How to get, use and complete "Lotus Eater" World Quest

Genshin Impact's Enkanomiya area is filled with plenty of mystery and an enigmatic aura that has intrigued many since the launch of the 2.4 update. As we continue to understand the history and the secrets of this mystical land, one World Quest explores the depths of Enkanomiya to locate a giant flower at its centre.

The Dragonbone Flower is the focus of the "Lotus Eater" World Quest, which, upon completion, can obtain the Dragonbone Orb. This quest is the only one currently where you can receive this item if you wish to add it to your Inventory.

What is the Dragonbone Orb in Genshin Impact?

The Dragonbone Orb is a Quest Item that Travelers can obtain through completing the Lotus Eater World Quest on Enkanomiya. The item is a fruit produced from the Dragonbone Flower using the Waters of Lethe to water the flower before waiting for a Daily Reset to condense.

As the item is a 0-star item but a unique one nonetheless, you have the option to keep the item in your Inventory or sell it to a local vendor. The item does make for an exciting souvenir should you choose to keep the item.

How to complete the Lotus Eater World Quest?

To obtain the Dragonbone Orb, they will need to complete the "Lotus Eater" World Quest on Enkanomiya. However, "The Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent" World Quest must be completed before accepting this quest.

After completing this, locate and enter a cave on the northside of The Serpent's Heart and fight off a Ruin Sentinel that's guarding the Altar Pattern behind it. Activate the pattern before returning to The Altar at The Serpent's Heart to input the altar pattern.

From here, speak with the afterimage and learn more about this spectre by reading the stone tablet nearby. The afterimage will instruct you to complete a puzzle which will involve toggling a mechanism to change the phase from Evernight to Whitenight and vice versa once the puzzle is solved.

Speak to the afterimage once again before proceeding to Tokoyo Reisen to acquire the Waters of Lethe needed to water the Dragonbone Flower. Once watered, wait for a full Daily Reset for the flower to bloom or condense from which a fruit, the Dragonbone Orb, will be produced for you to obtain.

How to use Dragonbone Orb in Genshin Impact?

Travelers can either hold onto the Dragonbone Orb or opt to sell it to vendors. If they choose the latter, they can sell the item to three vendors in Mondstadt, Inazuma and Liyue, respectively.

Marjorie's With Wind Comes Glory in Mondstadt will offer Mora x80,000 and Moon Pie x5 in exchange for the item. In contrast, Mikoshi Genichirou's Netsuke no Gen Crafts in Inazuma can offer them Mora x80,000 and Sashimi Platter x5. Lastly, Linlang's Xigu Antiques in Liyue will exchange the item for Mora x80,000 and Bountiful Year x5 should you wish to sell the item.

As food items generally take up most of the Inventory slots as it replenishes HP, amongst other things, it would be wise not to sell the item and keep it as a souvenir instead. Throughout your adventures in Enkanomiya, there are plenty of points to locate, lore and secrets to uncover, and memories to collect in this wonderous new area.
