Genshin Impact 2.6 Starshroom locations and healing effect

Developer HoYoverse didn't pull any punches when releasing the Genshin Impact 2.6 update, unleashing a brand-new area called The Chasm (unlock it with our guide), filled to the brim with enemies, world quests, items and more, as well as Kamisato Ayato as a playable character, and a host of other additions. One such addition that might be overlooked by some Travellers is the new harvestable healing item, Starshroom.

In this guide, we tell you exactly what the new Genshin Impact 2.6 item, Starshroom, does when consumed, and all the locations in The Chasm so you can farm it with ease to heal your characters!

Genshin Impact 2.6 Starshroom item healing effect

The Starshroom is a new harvestable item in Genshin Impact 2.6. While harvesting, the Starshroom recharge one Energy for the Lumenstone Adjuvant. Travellers can spot a Starshroom as a yellow mushroom that has a faint, blue glow to it.

This is a Genshin Impact food type item, which players can consume to receive some healing. When used, the Starshroom restores 300 HP to the target character. It cannot be used on other players' characters in co-op.

A description of the Starshroom reads: "A fungus with a cap that resembles a five-pointed star. It is quite hardy indeed. Once it matures, the centre of the cap will split open."

All Starshroom locations in Genshin Impact's The Chasm

There are clusters of Starshrooms that you can find in The Chasm's Underground Mines. First up, you have to actually enter the Underground Mines with our handy guide.

Once inside, you will find the Starshroom locations in the Glowing Narrows and Underground Waterway areas. They are grouped together nicely so once you start harvesting one, more will follow.
