HoYoverse Adjusted Genshin Impact Update Schedule Window

HoYoverse will begin the next chapter of its action RPG, Genshin Impact, with the release of the 3.0 update, The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings. Travelers looking forward to exploring the lush environments, participating in brand new events, and meeting new characters should be excited as the update arrives later this month.

The developer announced during the Special Program Livestream that there are changes made to the release window for the game's following few updates. Furthermore, they revealed the expected dates for the 3.0 – 3.3 updates, with the year's last update arriving in early December 2022.

Genshin Impact Future Updates Schedule Window

The Genshin Impact 3.0 Special Program Livestream dedicated much of its time to various fantastic incoming content. While the latest Sumeru region is the centerpiece of the Genshin Impact 3.0, developer HoYoverse provided an update regarding the release window for future game updates.

Versions 3.0 – 3.2 Duration Details

In future Versions 3.0 – 3.2, the version duration will be adjusted to 5 weeks.

Followingly, the Genshin Impact 3.0 update, The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings, will launch for PC and PlayStation consoles on 24th August 2022, with pre-installation and maintenance dates to be announced soon. Updates 3.0 to 3.2 have been adjusted significantly, for the time being, moving from a six-week to a five-week schedule.

"In future Versions 3.0 – 3.2, the version duration will be adjusted to 5 weeks. At the same time, the project team will adjust the version content plan accordingly, without reducing the gameplay content of each version," the developer detailed in a recent blog post.

Genshin Impact Update Release Dates

The developer has provided the release windows for Genshin Impact update 3.0 to 3.3; Travelers can expect the next few updates to launch on the following dates:

• 3.0 update: Scheduled for release on 24th August 2022
• 3.1 update: Scheduled for release on 28th September 2022
• 3.2 update: Scheduled for release on 2nd November 2022
• 3.3 update: Scheduled for release on 7th December 2022

With the Genshin Impact 3.0 to 3.2 updates running for five weeks before the subsequent one launches, the developer has no confirmation if it resumes to six weeks when the 3.3 update releases. However, since this particular update will release on 7th December 2022, the Genshin Impact 3.4 update may arrive in late January 2023 should it revert to a six-week release.

Additionally, HoYoverse detailed that they will adjust the experience requirements for the level of its Battle Pass. "During Version 3.0 – 3.2, the experience required for each BP Level of the Battle Pass system will be adjusted to 900 (originally 1,000)."
