With the many quests available to complete in Genshin Impact's newest 2.8 version, players have a vast array of content to keep them immersed in the action. One of these quests is the Ere The End, A Glance Back quests that players will find themselves undertaking as they venture into the new content available.

How To Complete Ere The End, A Glance Back Quest - Genshin Impact

This quest forms part of an overarching story quest called "A Strange and Friendless Road". This story quest is split into three subsequent quests, "Upon the Plain, a Purple Shadow", "Through the Mist, a Name Unveiled" and finally, the quest we're going to be looking at today is called "Ere The End, A Glance Back."

To begin this final quest, players must make their way to the blade-testing venue, which can be located on the eastern part of Mt. Yougou in Inazuma City as shown above. And once there, you'll need to start the Occupied Hold which is a level 90 party event that requires players to defeat 3 warriors who can duplicate themselves.

After completing the second wave of the event, Kazuha's sword will glow purple and will affect an aura from the cursed blade, but after defeating the final big bad of the event, his sword will return to normal. Now you can speak to the Prized Isshin Blade who will ask you for a fight to release Amenoma Yuuya and restore his consciousness.

As this happens, Amenoma will regain consciousness and you will be forced to fulfill the blade's wishes. This will require you to head to the Byakko Plain and head to the beach located on the map below.

Once you reach the beach, you will need to duel with Amenoma Yuuyaa, and once defeated, you will have fulfilled the request of the cursed blade. You can then make your way back to Amenoma Smithy and speak to Amenoma Tougo about the events that transpired.

After leaving here, you will learn of the blade's final words from Kazuha and you can make your way to Kujou Kamaji along with Kazuha. And after the exchange between Kazuha and Kamaji, the quest will be complete, netting you the following rewards:

• 38,100 Mora

• x5 Guide to Diligence

• x4 Hero's wit

• x8 Mystic Enhancement Ore
