Genius Invokation TCG became highly popular among the players ever since it got released, and HoYoverse has recently announced the first-ever official international tournament for it called Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup. The event will take place later in 2023 and will feature top teams from various regions competing in six regional championships and a number of invitational tournaments for a massive prize pool of over $270,000.

Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup is divided into two parts. The first one will take place from June to September, along with three cross-regional invitationals in June, August, and December. You can have a look at the match schedule below.

  • The Prince Cup Korea Final: June 11
  • The Prince Cup Europe Final: June 16
  • The Prince Cup North America Final: June 17
  • The Prince Cup Invitational - S1 Final: June 18
  • The Prince Cup Japan Final: July 16
  • The Prince Cup Invitational - S2 Final: August 13
  • The Prince Cup Latin America Final: September 13
  • The Prince Cup SEA/HK/MO/TW Final: September 17
  • The Prince Cup Invitational - S3 Final: December

As per the announced format, the top players from "Cat’s Tail Gathering" regional community tournaments and wildcard competitions will battle for the regional championship title, and among these, the players who qualify for quarter-finals will compete on-site.

 In addition to this, exhibition games will also be held for the international audience, and the top regional and community tournament candidates will be invited to participate in them. "As the first international tournament series of Genshin Impact, 'Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup' aims to provide bigger stages for talented players and diverse fun for fans and gamers in and outside
the game," HoYoverse stated.
