While build crafting in Hogwarts Legacy isn’t as extensive as something like in Destiny 2, there are still plenty of ways to shape up your character to your liking. As you progress further into the game, you will get your hands on powerful Legendary gear with unique Traits that you might want to keep around. The only way to keep these gear relevant later on is by upgrading them. But how exactly can you upgrade gear in Hogwarts Legacy? Read on to find out.
REMINDER - Hogwarts Legacy was due to launch on PS4 and Xbox One on April 4, but now won't release until 5 May 2023.

How To Improve Gear In Hogwarts Legacy
To upgrade your gear in Hogwarts Legacy, you will require a workstation called ‘Enchanted Loom.’ Naturally, you can only craft this loom in the Room of Requirements.
Sadly, the Enchanted Loom won’t be available to craft in the Room of Requirement until you have completed the main mission, ‘The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and The Loom.’ You won’t come across it until halfway through the story, so get ready to grind.
Once you have unlocked the Enchanted Loom, you can set it up in the Room of Requirement at the cost of 8 Moonstones. You can use this workstation to not just upgrade but also equip Traits on your gear.
Unfortunately, a gear can only be upgraded three times, with the amount and type of resource required varying each time. As you could expect, the Legendary gear type requires the most resources to upgrade, with Extraordinary and Super gear taking relatively less.
These resources come from taming beasts, which you can capture via your Nab-Sack when exploring the open world.
And that’s it! That’s everything you need to know about upgrading your gear in Hogwarts Legacy.
