Is It Worth Rerolling In Honkai: Star Rail?

Are you wondering whether rerolling in Honkai Star Rail is worth it? We have the answers you need!
Is It Worth Rerolling In Honkai: Star Rail?

Rerolling in gacha games is a great way to optimize your account and target specific characters you want to acquire. For those unaware, rerolling is the process of playing through a game's opening tutorial until you unlock the ability to summon characters. From here, you will dump all your available currency into the summoning banner of your choice and reset the game if you don't acquire the desired unit. It can be a very long and grueling process, but it can save you a lot of time and currency in the future if you are able to acquire powerful characters at such an early stage in the game. Naturally, players will have the ability to reroll in Honkai Star Rail as well.

However, is rerolling worth it in Honkai Star Rail? That's what we're here to find out! This article will answer the question, 'should you reroll in Honkai Star Rail.'

Should You Reroll In Honkai Star Rail?

It is not recommended to reroll in Honkai Star Rail. This is for several reasons. The first reason not to reroll in Honkai Star Rail is that all the available characters that can be acquired at the beginning of the game are great in their own right. Furthermore, players are guaranteed a five-star character by summoning on the Departure Warp, so there is no worry about starting the game without an SSR unit.

However, the biggest factor against rerolling in Honkai Star Rail is that it takes an incredibly long time to complete. The opening tutorial for Honkai Star Rail lasts about 30-40m and involves not only combat but exploration and unskippable cutscenes as well. This means you will not be able to mindlessly tap your way through dialogue boxes and skip dialogue sequences. You will need to actively play through the opening and wait while each character speaks their lines.

The rate for five-star characters is quite low as well, at only 0.6%. The only reason to reroll in Honkai Star Rail would be to acquire two five-star characters (along with the guaranteed five-star character from the Departure Warp). So, it is entirely possible to play through the opening 40 minutes of the game, perform your summons on the standard Stellar Warp banner, and get either a five-star character you don't like or none at all!

Finally, the last reason to avoid rerolling in Honkai Star Rail is that the Guest Login option has been removed by HoYoverse. Players will have to create unique email addresses and make a new account every time they want to reroll.

And that answers the question, 'should you reroll in Honkai Star Rail.'
