Here is everything you need to know about the Wish/Warp Counter for Honkai Star Rail!
Honkai Star Rail Wish Counter: How Many Pulls To Get A 5 Star?

Honkai Star Rail is the most recent RPG developed by Genshin Impact studio, HoYoverse. Players will climb aboard the Astral Express and travel across the stars visiting new locations, battling powerful enemies, and interacting with interesting characters. Unfortunately, if you want to add any of these characters to your team, you will have to summon them. Similar to Genshin Impact or any other gacha game, acquiring new characters in Honkai Star Rail requires spending summoning currency on banners for a chance at obtaining them.

Thankfully, to offset the abysmally low rate of obtaining a 5 Star item, a pity counter is in place, which will guarantee you a 5 Star after a certain number of summons. So, if you want to know more about the Honkai Star Rail Wish Counter, you've come to the right place. This article will cover exactly how many pulls it takes to acquire a 5 Star in Honkai Star Rail!

It takes 90 Pulls to obtain a guaranteed 5 Star in Honkai Star Rail. In Honkai Star Rail, Wishes or pulls are referred to as Warps. Every 90 Warps in Honkai Star Rail will guarantee you a 5 Star of some kind. This is separate from the Departure Warp, which is a one-time-only discounted rate of fifty Warps for new players. The Departure Warp guarantees a five-star within 50 Warps which are also discounted by 20% (requiring only eight Star Rail Passes for a ten-pull instead of the usual ten.)

Aside from the Departure Warp, there are three main Warps in Honkai Star Rail. The Standard Warp has no rate-up chance for characters of Light Cones and contains only the starter characters. Event Character Warps have a rate-up chance for specific characters, and Event Light Cone Warps have a rate-up for specific Light Cones. Here is a breakdown of the differences regarding each banner.

Standard Warp:

  • A 5 Star is guaranteed every 90 Warps.
  • This 5 Star can be a character or a Light Cone.

Event Character Warp:

  • A 5 Star is guaranteed every 90 Warps.
  • This 5 Star is guaranteed to be a character.
  • There is a 50% chance it will be the rate-up character.
  • If you fail the 50/50, the next 5 Star you acquire will be the rate-up character.
  • If you have the absolute worst luck, it will take 180 total Warps to guarantee a rate-up Event character.

Event Light Cone Warp

  • A 5 Star is guaranteed every 80 Warps.
  • This 5 Star is guaranteed to be a Light Cone.
  • There is a 75% chance it will be the rate-up Light Cone.
  • If you fail the 75/25, the next 5 Star you acquire will be the rate-up Light Cone.
  • If you have the absolute worst luck, it will take 160 total Warps to guarantee a rate-up Event Light Cone.

And that's everything you need to know about how many pulls to get a 5 Star in Honkai Star Rail!
